To be honest, I don’t really know much about Minecraft. All I know is, my kids absolutely LOOOOVE this game! To prepare for my daughter’s birthday party, I asked my kids what they liked about Minecraft and quickly did a google search on my phone before buying my party supplies.
I love having themed birthday parties. It’s a lot of work and preparation, but it’s worth it because the kids really appreciate it (I hope!)
If your child loves Minecraft too, read on to learn how to throw a Minecraft themed birthday party!
I saw this at a local arts school and I just had to try it. I love doing art projects with my girls but I’m not always good at it. But this art project is fool proof. It’s so easy, doesn’t take very much time to do, and the supplies are cheap!
Here’s what you need:
Acrylic Paint (dollar store)
a container (see photo)
A bbq stick (to mix the paint)
Stir stick (from paint store)
Here are the steps to make marble art!
Fill your container with a layer of shaving cream. 2. Add squirts of your acrylic paint however you like3. Take your bbq stick and swirl the paint around till it looks something like this3. Take your card stock and place it on top of the paint. (I folded my paper to fit it in the container)4. Remove cardstock from the shaving cream, then scrap off excess cream in one stroke starting from one corner till all the cream is removed. 5. Allow to dry and voila! You have your own marble art that you can frame or make as a card or whatever you like!Try this at home with your child! I’m sure it will be a big hit! Have fun!
If your kids have been bitten by the Perler Bead bug, you probably have these littered all over your house! I know they are at my house! I think Perler beads have been around for a really long time but this is the first time that I have actually learned how to do it. My kids had a play date and they learned it from their friends and ever since then, they’ve been beading away. Everyone that comes to our house starts Perler beading. My aunt and uncle started doing it. One of our friends made a flower for his wife. My niece also made something. As another blogger put it, it’s oddly satisfying. Who knew that putting a bunch of beads together and melting them could be so fun? But you know what’s not fun? Clean up!!!!! Those tiny little beads get everywhere and everyday, it’s “Mommy, can you iron this for me!” hahaha…. Anyway, we have so many of these cute little creations, I thought we could make them into stuff we could actually use. Here are 8 easy ways you can use Perler Beads.
